2020 Hindsight: Photographs And Memories

I got both nostalgic and emotional on the 158th day of 2020.  Alexa and I started off on 6/6/2020 in a Graduation Parade for one of her Mustangs Softball teammates.  It truly was touching to see how much a small parade of teammates meant to her and I was happy we were able to celebrate with her this morning.  Then I got out my new external CD Drive and loaded Alexa's Senior Pictures to my computer.  All of the pics are of course amazing in my "unbiased" opinion.  And it brought me to my Google Drive where I encountered a raft of pictures of Alexa and her classmates through the years.  And that was the nostalgic and emotional part.  My 2020 Hindsight is Photographs and Memories.  Running into this treasure trove of pictures made me realize that an era is coming to an end.  This next week is Alexa's last week of HS and I am realizing that I will miss her classmates and the community of parents we have in this Class as much as I will miss my own kid (who will be studying on the same campus where I work).  Will I miss Alexa at home, I sure will.  But I will see her on campus and during holidays.  Hope she stays in touch with her classmates and we stay in touch with their parents!  And the hindsight that I came up with this evening made me think of the song by the same name.  By Jim Croce.  Listening to Jim Croce takes me back to 911 S. 47th Street when _I_ was in High School.  Another era with amazing memories.  Whew.....emotional times.  I hope you all have great photos and memories that you all can enjoy as well.  I will be doing a lot of this in the coming week.
