2020 Hindsight: Great Teammates, Great Friends

As they have been in the last months, the 205th day brought about the end of an era.  Ever since they were 4 years old (maybe 3!), Alexa and Breanne Lawless have been classmates and often also teammates.  On the softball fields behind Oaklyn School, on the fields of Colls Middle School and High School and, most recently, on the Mustangs.  On 7/23/2020, with two outs in the top of the 5th, Coach Bob stopped the game and Breanne came out of Left Field to applause and hoorays.  Today was, possibly, her last game with the Mustangs.  So we honored her as a teammate and as a friend.  Always smiling and always ready to play, Breanne inspires tonight's 2020 Hindsight: Great Teammates, Great Friends.  So many amazing teammates with which my daughters have played in the past years.  And tonight, it was about Breanne.  I am sure their paths will cross again, they are both going into Nursing and will hopefully still all be close in Oaklyn.  Best of Luck at Jefferson University, Breanne, and thanks for always smiling!
