2020 Hindsight: Meaningful Benedictions

Church ended on the 187th day of 2020 with two very poignant events.  The 7/5/2020 service ended with a young woman in our congregation reading "Let America be America Again" by Langston Hughes.  And then the Lay Benediction (Pastor Michael is having a Congregant provide the Benediction at the end of each Summer Service which has been very moving and meaningful) addressed what we, as Christians, need to do to strive for a more just and fair society.  My 2020 Hindsight is Meaningful Benedictions.  These two orations have been moving around in my brain all day,  I DO want a more just and fair world.  And I need to figure out what more I can do to make it so.  May we all look inside and figure out what we can do to increase justice, fairness, and kindness in our World.
