2020 Hindsight: Opening Day Memories
7/24/2020 was the strangest Phillies Home Openers of all time. In the evening of the 206th day of 2020, we did not find ourselves in Citizen's Bank Park (first time not there in a LONG time) and we were, instead, watching from home. My 2020 Hindsight is Opening Day Memories. From Opening Days with Alexa in a car seat, to the more recent large groups from Oaklyn that have been attending to the traditional folks with whom we usually attend. All of them were a part of my text messaging tonight, about the game, which picked up where last season left off, frustratingly losing to the Miami Marlins....Maybe it's because the Marlins are used to playing in a stadium with no fans, they had the home field advantage?? But, no matter what, I am glad baseball is back and it was good to see my Phillies tonight. Hope to see them in person at the 2021 Home Opener.
